Afterlife is an exercise in designing a new object from 100% reused materials. When virgin materials are forbidden, design becomes more like foraging, curating or solving a puzzle. A new kind of aesthetic emerges, one that allows for unusual material combinations and surprises. The design is a recipe which can be replicated with similar materials, depending on what is found.
